Anchor Plate

A CMC original design that has withstood the test of time, our Anchor Plates keep the carabiners holding the different parts of your rescue system from jamming together. The hardware becomes easier to see, making safety checks more accurate. It can also keep you from clipping a carabiner into the wrong loop of the anchor web. For anchor systems, it makes an excellent collection point. We use the Anchor Plate in CMC Rope Rescue classes, which allows our students to set up systems faster with fewer mistakes.

Arizona Vortex Kit

Named for its origin in the rugged Red Rock highlands of northern Arizona, the Arizona Vortex Kit is a unique multipod that was created from years of experimental development. The Vortex represents the pinnacle of at-the-edge frames, which no standard multipod can match today. The recently improved Vortex Bag System allows a single rope technician to carry the entire Vortex Kit using our RigTech Pack™ and 2 redesigned Leg Bags.

AZTEK ProSeries® System

As one of the most versatile tools in rope rescue, the CMC AZTEK ProSeries System reflects our philosophy of keeping rigging equipment simple, efficient, light, compact, and multi-purpose. Originally developed by Reed Thorne of Arizona-based Ropes That Rescue, the AZTEK (Arizona Technician’s Edge Kit) is used worldwide and offers more than 100 rigging solutions in a single bag. The CMC AZTEK ProSeries System is made in USA of US and foreign components.

This system now includes an updated AZTEK ProSeries Pack that has improved fabric durability, new reflective piping, and a fresh OD Green color. The pack is feature rich with 1000D nylon/Tarpaulin construction for abrasion resistance, mesh panel for ventilation and drying, Garage Pockets™ to protect cord, double-zippered top compartments, and tension lock buckles for carrying on the waist or thigh. Note: product videos may show previous pack model (no longer available in Coyote color).

CAPTO Soft Shackle

Strong, compact, and durable, the CAPTO Soft Shackle is an excellent companion for every CAPTO. Our CAPTO Soft Shackle installs through the CAPTO cam axle to provide an additional attachment point for smooth remote resets and easy device stowage on a harness or gear rack. It should not be considered a life-supporting or load bearing / rated attachment point. The CAPTO Soft Shackle is ideally sized for easy installation and operation. Its low friction Dyneema braid has a 3.5 mm external diameter, allowing it to hand feed through CAPTO’s 3.9 mm rivet hole without requiring mouse lines or other tools. The length is long enough for attaching carabiners yet short enough to prevent looping around the tail of the CAPTO Cam.

CAPTO™

CAPTO is an intuitive device that combines a multi-functional rope grab, high-efficiency pulley, and integrated becket for easy hauling and ascending. Built around an innovative V-groove Cam, CAPTO is designed to handle rescue loads while providing force-limiting overload protection. CAPTO is available in gray for 10.5-11 mm (7/16 in) rope and red for 12.5-13 mm (1/2 in) rope. Both models are certified to NFPA General Use and the 11 mm CAPTO is also certified to EN 12841:2006/B (200 kg — two-person rescue load rating), EN 567:2013, and EN 12278:2007 (36 kN).

CMC CLUTCH™ By Harken™

Introducing the all-new CLUTCH, the latest evolution in rescue and rope access hardware that enables the technical rope professional to do more with less. This multi-purpose device was designed and engineered in collaboration by two companies with a collective 90 year history in rope management under heavy loads: CMC, a company with roots in rescue and rope access, and Harken, a manufacturing company with roots in high performance sailing.

Double CLUTCH TTRS Kits

Built around the versatile CMC CLUTCH™ by Harken™, our Double CLUTCH Twin Tension Rope System (TTRS) Kit provides best practice twin tension hauling and lowering for technical operations. This premier kit allows technicians to run two rope systems at separate anchors or nested together for side-by-side operation. Mechanical advantage systems can be assembled on both ropes simultaneously using the intuitive and force-limiting CAPTO™, including a 3:1, 3:1 with change of direction, 5:1, and 9:1. Organized and color-coded, this kit minimizes gear sorting and allocation. Teams can shoulder their packs knowing they are prepared to quickly and efficiently deploy TTRS.

Enforcer Load Cell Kit

This compact device can measure force up to 20 kN, and with two sampling modes, the ENFORCER LOAD CELL monitors systems and logs drop testing in high resolution. Along with unique features such as Bluetooth connectivity and swivel attachment points, the Enforcer stands in a class of its own.

Escape Artist™ System (Rope)

The Rapid and Reliable Means of Escape
The compact and efficient CMC Escape Artist™ System equips you with all the tools you need for a successful emergency egress, and allows hands-free operation to ensure a safe edge transition and controllable descent. The System’s flame- and temperature-resistant components include our new Flash.2™ Escape Anchor, 50 feet of ProSeries Escape Line and a Single-Brake Escape Artist, all compactly organized into a durable Fire Escape Bag constructed of Nomex® fabric.

Harken LokHead Winch Kit (NFPA)

The Harken LokHead Winch Kit (NFPA Technical Use) is a man-riding portable capstan winch specifically designed for confined space rescue retrieval or for use with davit systems using an unlimited length of life safety rope. The captive head allows the winch to be used safely, and keeps the rope from accidentally coming off the winch and releasing. The LokHead Winch Kit comes complete with everything needed for a tripod setup.
