Since methods, techniques, and technology change rapidly, we recommend refresher training for almost every course we teach. We recommend you repeat training courses at or above your present level at least every two years.

Vehicle and Machinery Rescue, Operations Level – 40 Hours, No Prerequisite.

This course is designed to comply with NFPA 1670, Vehicle and Machinery Rescue-Operations Level and NFPA 1006 Vehicle and Machinery Rescue. This course is available in a private training format only and covers the following related topics:

  • Size Up,
  • Identification of Probable Victim Locations and Survivability,
  • Vehicle Stabilization and Hazard Control Techniques,
  • Victim Protection and Packaging,
  • Access, Extrication, and Removal of Victims from Vehicles and Machinery,
  • Traffic Control Techniques, and
  • Safe Termination of the Incident.

Vehicle and Machinery Rescue, Technician Level – 40 Hours, Prerequisite: Operations Level. This course is designed to comply with NFPA 1670, Vehicle and Machinery Rescue-Technician Level and NFPA 1006 Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Technician level. This course is available in a private training format only and covers the following related topics:

  • Advanced Vehicle Stabilization Techniques,
